Annotation
In this weekend workshop, participants will have the opportunity to experience Holotropic Breathwork, a new form of self-exploration and psychotherapy developed by Christina and Stan Grof. The name holotropic means literally “moving toward wholeness,” (from the Greek holos = whole and trepein = moving in the direction of something). This approach utilizes the remarkable healing and transformative potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness (“holotropic states”) induced by very simple means - faster breathing, evocative music, and releasing bodywork in a safe and supportive setting. These states engender a rich array of experiences with unique therapeutic potential - reliving memories from childhood, infancy, birth, and prenatal life and elements from the historical and archetypal realms of the collective unconscious. Holotropic Breathwork integrates the insights from modern consciousness research, depth psychology, transpersonal psychology, anthropology, Eastern spiritual practices, and mystical traditions. Following the breathwork sessions, participants draw mandalas reflecting their inner journeys and share their experiences in small groups. The Grofs’ work with holotropic states of consciousness has introduced revolutionary changes to psychiatry, psychology, and psychotherapy.

Accomodation:
Price includes 2 nights accommodation in a 4* hotel in a double room.
To provide you safe environment during your process it´s necesarry to be accomodated in the hotel.

Contraindications:
Given that holotropic breathwork can be emotionally and physically demanding workshop is not intended for people:

with cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure - hypertension, some forms of epilepsy, glaucoma, vascular swelling - an aneurysm, a history of head injury with bleeding into the brain, etc.

with severe mental illness, infectious diseases, serious mental disorder.

people actively using drugs, including marijuana, alcohol or other addictive substances. (It is required at least a 30-day abstinence, regular alcohol users at least a 14-day abstinence.)

currently pregnant.
Part of the registration form is also a medical questionnaire, which must be carefully fill in. If you are in any doubt about whether you should participate, it is essential that you consult your physician or therapist, eventually workshop organizers before completing the registration.
Cancellation Policy:
Participation can be canceled free of charge at least one week before the start of the event.
In the case of a cancellation less than a week but longer than 24 hours, the cancellation fee is 50%.
In the case of cancellation less than 24 hours before the start of the event, the cancellation fee is 100%.
Registration for the event are not transferable. Only in case of serious reasons an alternate may be accepted after an agreement with the organizer.
